All instructors or mentees in the NW Region are invited to attend the upcoming instructor education conference to be held on June 19, 2010 at Snoqualmie Pass.  This program will fulfill part of the NSP's requirements for instructor recertification that all instructors complete an instructor continuing education seminar for their discipline during each period of instructor certification (3 yrs).  For mentees, you have an opportunity to advance your knowledge and meet your peers who are instructors in your chosen discipline.

Bernie Goddard will be teaching an Instructor Development class at White Pass on April 10 and another one at Summit West Patrol Building on May 8 .

One of the prerequisites for becoming a certified instructor in any NSP discipline is to
take the Instructor Development course. This course teaches various teaching
techniques and also the administrative process required of Instructors who teach NSP
training courses.
